About Meall Ghaordaidh
Meall Ghaordaidh lies in the Southern Highlands about 10 km north-west of Killin, on the Perth and Kinross boundary with Stirling. It appears in Munro's Tables under the spelling Meall Ghaordie.
The summit is marked by a large circular rock windbreak with a trig point inside it. Ascents are made from Glen Lochay, starting north-west of the Allt Dhuin Croisg near Duncroisk, where an eroded path runs north-west across peat bogs; alternatively from Glen Lyon at Stronuich, using one of two spurs, Creag an Tulabhain or Creag Laoghain.
