About Howden Edge

Howden Edge, whose highest ground is known as High Stones, is the highest point within the boundaries of both the City of Sheffield and South Yorkshire. It lies on the Howden Moors in the northern part of the Peak District National Park, with Langsett Reservoir to the north-east and Howden Reservoir to the south-west, on land managed by the National Trust as part of the Nether Hey portion of its High Peak Estate.
