About Creise

Creise is a long, fairly flat ridge in the Black Mount, overlooking the northern end of Glen Etive. Its highest point had no name until 1981.

The steep, craggy northern buttress, Sron na Creise, is the feature most people see, prominent from the A82 and the Kings House Hotel. Creise is one of four Black Mount Munros alongside Meall a' Bhuiridh, Stob Ghabhar and Stob a' Choire Odhair, and its proximity to the White Corries ski area makes it a draw for cross-country skiers as well as walkers, who often pair it with Meall a' Bhuiridh.
