About Carn nan Gobhar

Càrn nan Gobhar rises north of Glen Strathfarrar and south of Glen Orrin, around 40 km west of Inverness. It is usually taken with the neighbouring Munros of Sgurr a' Choire Ghlais and Sgurr na Ruaidhe.

Confusion is easy here: another Càrn nan Gobhar, also a Munro and of almost identical height, stands 14 km to the southwest on the far side of Glen Strathfarrar.
