About Beinn Teallach
Beinn Teallach lies in the Grampians east of Roybridge in Lochaber, a largely rounded hill with a steep eastern face. It was long taken to be a Corbett before survey work found it reached Munro height by 20 centimetres, which makes it the lowest Munro in Scotland.
The summit area is formed by the Corrieyairack Pluton, mostly granodiorite, intruded during the Palaeozoic into metasedimentary rocks of the Grampian Group. Ascents commonly begin from Glen Spean.
