About Beinn a' Chlaidheimh
Beinn a' Chlaidheimh — the hill of the sword — is a steep, distinctively shaped peak deep in the Dundonnell and Fisherfield Forest of Wester Ross, remote country in the Northwest Highlands.
It counted as a Munro until 2012, when resurveying put it 44 cm below the 914.40 m threshold and it was reclassified as a Corbett. Walkers commonly take it in as part of the Fisherfield Six, together with five neighbouring Munros.
