About Askival

Askival is the high point of Rùm in the Inner Hebrides, rising about five kilometres south of Kinloch, the island's main settlement.

It forms part of the Rùm Cuillin, the rocky group of hills occupying the southern end of the island, and many walkers take it in as one stage of a full traverse of that ridge rather than as a single objective.
