About Andrewhinney Hill

Andrewhinney Hill is the highest summit on a ridge in the Ettrick Hills, part of the Southern Uplands, running parallel to the A708 on the road's southern side. Directly opposite, across the valley, is the Grey Mare's Tail in the Moffat Hills.

The north-western slopes fall within the Moffat Hills SSSI and SAC. The hill straddles the Dumfries and Galloway–Scottish Borders boundary and is listed as both a Graham and a Donald.
