Stob Coir' an Albannaich rises south of Glen Etive in the Grampian Mountains, straddling the boundary between Argyll and Bute and the Highland area. It is a hill that lends itself to a traverse rather than an out-and-back.
The summit stands at 1,045 m, giving Munro status along with Marilyn, HuMP, Simm and Murdo listings. Taynuilt, to the south, is the closest village.
