Sgùrr nan Each belongs to the Fannichs, the group of hills lying some 27 kilometres south of Ullapool in the old Ross and Cromarty district of Highland. At 923 metres it qualifies as a Munro, though it lacks the prominence for Marilyn status, so it is best understood as one summit within the wider Fannich group rather than as a hill standing on its own.
