About Sgurr Ghiubhsachain
Sgùrr Ghiubhsachain is the highest point of a group of hills standing south of Glenfinnan, on the south-eastern side of the northern part of Loch Shiel, in Lochaber. It is far lower than the Nevis range nearby but also much further from any public road.
Steep, rugged ground surrounds it on every side, and there are no paths on its slopes. Despite the trail head being reachable from the Fort William to Mallaig road, walkers here may see nobody else even on a fine summer day.
