About Sgurr an Utha

Sgùrr an Utha is one of a pair of hills above Glenfinnan in Lochaber, joined to Fraoch-bheinn by a ridge that dips no lower than 735 m between the two tops. Glen Finnan lies immediately to the east, and most walkers approach from that side.

The ground here has unusual botanical interest: it is the only site known in the British Isles for the arctic plant Diapensia lapponica, recorded there in 1951. The summit reaches about 796 m and counts as a Corbett.
