About Rois-Bheinn

Rois-Bheinn shares the distinction of highest hill in Moidart with neighbouring Beinn Odhar Bheag, the two tops matching in elevation. Because the Moidart peninsula is cut off from the land to the north by the deep pass holding Loch Eilt, Rois-bheinn is among the more prominent hills in the British Isles.

Ascents are made by the west ridge from the small village of Roshven, or from Inverailort to the north. The summit reaches 882.4 m and is a Corbett, Marilyn, HuMP and Simm.
