About Mynydd Troed
Mynydd Troed is a 609-metre hill on the western side of the Black Mountains in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, Powys, south Wales. It lies about three miles south of Talgarth and two miles north-east of the village of Llangors, and its summit, at the northern end of a ridge aligned north-west to south-east, is crowned by a trig point.
The name translates literally as 'foot mountain', a reference to the hill's appearance when seen from the Allt Mawr ridge.
