This Càrn nan Gobhar stands on the north side of Loch Mullardoch in the upper part of Glen Cannich. It belongs to a remote set of four Munros sometimes called "The Mullardochs", which together make up the high ground between Loch Mullardoch and Loch Monar. A second Munro of the same name lies elsewhere in the Northwest Highlands, so take care when planning.
